The Challenge
BYU Athletics aimed to enhance the in-stadium fan experience and boost game-day sales, including concessions, merchandise, and donations. The challenge was to create a solution that would engage fans in real time, encourage in-game participation, and seamlessly integrate opportunities for increased revenue—all while ensuring the experience was tailored specifically to BYU’s dedicated fanbase.
The Solution
PesciSports developed the Gameday Experience App specifically for fans attending BYU games in the stadium. The app allowed fans to access live stats, replays, and social media feeds without leaving their seats. Interactive features, like real-time push notifications, synchronized light shows, and in-app fan games, kept fans engaged throughout the game. Additionally, the app made it easy for fans to order concessions and merchandise directly from their phones, increasing convenience and driving in-game purchases. Integrated donation options allowed BYU to capture fan enthusiasm during the most exciting moments.
